[WWYC] DXpedition announcement

Hi lids,

You might be interested to know that myself, together with a number of other
young lids from Cambridge University Wireless Society are off on a
DXpedition to the Outer Hebrides islands in North-West Scotland from
6th-10th September.

Sadly, we couldn't manage to arrange dates to operate in a contest, but the
trip will mainly concentrate on activating summits counting for the Summits
on the Air award programme (www.sota.org.uk) but the summits are all also on
islands, so that's another reason to work us! Each operator will use their
own callsign /P on the summits. (Listen for me as MM0BLF/P)

In addition, in the early part of the week, we hope to get to the Monach
Islands (IOTA: EU-111) to operate for one day with the University callsign
GM6UW/P (QSL via M0BLF).  We can't set a date on this as, in early
September, anything in Scotland is WX-dependent!
