Hi

Thanks for your points for us, Me being part of G0SOA/P

I will attach below the operating guide

Of course my name is dan in the timetable. I think i worked yourself, but we had 2 young ones this year, chris is only 13 and coming on well and myself being 17, i think its a relief for the older contesters that there is someone there to carry on

Fully enjoyed it and great weather, i borrowed someones camper van ;) and got 2 hours shut eye, but the generator was too loud

We have made a sort of video diary which the contest leader will show to the club, it will be in MPEG format as it was done on one of these sony thingies, so i will put it online so you can watch us in action (no beers i am afriad, but some sunny delight and softmints ;)

We were using the TS850SAT running of a battery which was being float charge. A nest of KW EZEE matchers for each band, 10,15,20,40,80 with a switcher box. Antenna was a 185ft doublet with open wire feeders, and 15m hight,. We had two supports each 100ft apart with the centre feeder being in between, and pulled tight with pullies. Being in the restricted section is was 100watts, but mainly 70-80 due to float charger failure, and genny running out of fuel, once that was back on up came the 100watts/

We used a laptop (with a backup) and Super duper 9.92

On my operation which started at 00.00 gmt, 80m was basically the only choice, it was noisey, crowed, and after 1 hour i worked all i could. I then took a dare and went to 20m, called for about 10mins and then suddenly russia appeared, alot of contacts and some mults were welcomes

All good fun, sorry for the long e-mail, and thanks for all that gave us points

Below is the timetable and notes

9A7P Score: 20 qsos
On the end YL Goga & Siro managed 20 qsos but not reaching the goal was
actually my fault. I tought contest ends at 15z instead 13z. As our plan was
to operate last 2 hours by that time contest was already over. Unforuntaly
more beers then QSOs this time :-)
One WWYCer was logged: G0SOA/P!

WWYC Meeting Video is done, just few for us new problems showed up (playing
with decoders) so it will be delayed with uploading to internet and making
final DVD version. But we didnt expect to finish it in such a short time
anyway :-) Reports from local people are good!

CU around,
Hrle - 9A6XX
