[WWYC] Old poem about lids

I found this very old poem on the internet... might give some of you a laugh 
when the reflector is so quiet.

A 'lid' on DX was indeed very keen,
  Rare QSL cards on walls he had seen,
So he stayed up one night, determined to work,
  An Aussie, a Zedder or maybe a Turk.

So he twiddled the knobs and rattled the key,
  But did he work anything ? no, not he,
When the trouble he found, he cursed loud and plenty !
  He was listening on forty and sending on twenty.
