[WWYC] RDXC: Why do we like it?

Hi lids,

Question for you all: why do you think Russian DX Contest is so popular among young amateurs?  Is it high rates, the results booklet, speed getting results out, because other WWYCers do it, or another reason?

There's an interesting discussion about the contest on the uk-contest mailing list about this at the moment, and I thought it would be nice to give a WWYC perspective.
