hellow!

i'm in BC! well in a part of vancouver called burnaby.
2 days ago i've meet dale ve7sv and we went to his station and i operated
from tere. the station is good, very comfy and dale is also a cleaning
maniac, so it is all very tidy and neat.
It is so much different from eu and i know now why people say its realy hard
in the low suncycle. realy far from everything, but  running japanese for 3h
on 40m cw was also realy realy nice.
working some eu in the bad condictions was realy bad. the signals on cw were
ssoooooooo low, that it was such a pain to get them trough. now i will be
more toughtfull towards people from this side of the world that dont hear
me.

thanks dale for his hospitality and company. i realy appreciate it it was a
realy good experience for me.

one of the highlights was a zs1y on 20m long path with no propagation
whatsoever and 6k5aqy on 40m, fighting his way trough the JA pileup. a total
surprise was w6/iz4efn on 20m and then also on 40m cw. always a pleasure
alessio! realy nice to find people on this part of the world.
