Hey lidz,

this way my first Single Op effort in a while and first serious operation
since PT5V @ WRTC 2006.

I was preparing how to be efficent in using SO2R in WPX CW to be ready for
this one and I think that my score is finally better with 2 radios compared
to 1 radio use only. About 70% of the time I had both audios into both ears
and about 85% of the time I was CQing on one radio and S&P on 2nd radio, my
timing was also much better - it was of course also easier then WPX because
of the exchange.

It was specialy good for the 1st 12 hours where I made 900 QSOs - next 12
hours were quite poor, specialy from 05z to 09z - no real east DX rates on
20 and 15 in the morning and short skip with rates came on the end of the
contest. Not a single JA worked during whole weekend - first time ever for
me :-)

This was overall my best QSO total in IARU from this station and it was one
mode only - my best result till now was 1356 QSOs MIX LP. However not the
best points result (942,000 points in 2003 MIX LP) because of the general
lack of mults - 203 this year vs 244 in 2003. Of course that's without 160m.
I think there was general lack of HQs but also DXes this year even tho my
avarage points are better then ever - due to nice number of USA/UA9 stations
after all.

I had big help from 9A3BIM but our experiment with 160m antenna did not work
out. I was trying slooper the night before but our tower doesnt seem to
cooperate much. Unfortunatly we can play with 160m only as "night antenna"
as we're in the city so it had to be done during the evening of the contest
- 9A3BIM spent 2 hours alone to install inv vee because I was operating -
his work did not produce results this time but I dont remember seeing lot of
people being so anxiuos about antenna work - not only that - he woke up in
the early morning to bring me coffee and food :-)

Was so happy to be back on for whole contest and probably my next serious
one will be CQWW CW effort as WAE CW time is reserved for our WWYC DL
Meeting,... meanwhile a lot to play with newcomers.
