*.worldirc.org doesn't resolve at the moment. The network can be
reached by e.g. main.toble.com or one of the IP addresses of the
servers. 

However, we're thinking about finally moving to another, more stable
network. A few YCers are already on irc.efnet.org/#wwyc.
