The ARI fee is 72 Euros per member.
18 Euros of these are given back to the local club where the member is
affiliated (everyone must be affiliated to a local club).
ARI has no state money in that meaning. BUT, ARI is a legalizzed
association, so everyone in their annual tax declaration can decide to leave
to this association 5/1000 of the taxes fee. Everyone puts that 5/1000
somewhere but not leaving it to the State. So, imagine what could happend if
a big company owner likes ARI: that could be consistent donation!
ARI has another strange thing. Many years ago they built a found called CASA
ARI. The purpose was to collect money for building a real ham radio
headquarter in Italy, with contributions from ARI members. The found is
pretty fat now, but as many other things in Italy, who knows when those
money will be used or where actually are?
73 and happy holidays!
