[WWYC] Help on issues around your hamradio organizations and how does it work in your country

Hellow guys!
I need a helping hand. We are trying to solve some problems around our
hamradio organization (ZRS) and i need some informations from you.
Can you answer the following questions:
1. a) What country are you from and what is the name of your hamradio
organization (DARC, SARTG etc...)
Spain - URE (Union de Radioaficonados Españoles)
b) To be a member of the country hamradio organization, can you be a
member as a singular hamradio operator, or can only clubs be members of the
organization ?
Yes individual member, also clubs can member and URE have local sections in all provinces.
Any person can be member also not licensed.
c) If you know what % of hamradio operators are members in the country
organization? (aproximately?)
40%
URE have about 13000 members
2. a) Do you guys have to pay every year for your licence, or use of the
hamradio frequencies ?
This is the dues for 2008
Examination fee: EUR 21.65.
Operator Certificate: EUR 12.98.
Amateur authorization (call sign): EUR 187.27 (for life)
Temporary authorization: Free (special callsing)
b) If so, how ? (even a link or anything)
c) do they plan to do something on that matter ?
No, this was modified on 2006, before we pay every 5 years about 60€ for the callsing.
3. a) Do you have to be a member in your country hamradio organization ?
No
b) How much is the membership per year ?
63,90€
4. a ) What does your hamradio organization offer you for that money ?
RADIOAFICIONADOS magazine, issued monthly (except September).
Inbound & outbound QSL bureau service through the URE Sections located throughout Spain.
Third party liability insurance for antenna installations.
E-mail and web space on the URE web.
Legal representation
b ) Do you have to pay for other things (QSL biro, magazine, .... ) ?
No
Only if want, you can pay 1€ per month and you can received your QSL at home directly.
c ) If so how much ?
