While many of the WWYC crowd may not have known Dave, KA5TQF, there's a 
few of us who were IOTA fans that did. Apparently Dave has passed away. 
I came across this while searching for him and another old IOTA friend WT2O:

ZULAWSKI, DAVID CHARLES, 49, Graveside Service: 10:00 a.m. Saturday, 
April 18, 2009 at Memorial Pines Cemetery. Survived by mother, Patsy 
Zulawski; brothers, Steven Zulawski

..from the El Paso newspaper.

During the days when #WWYC was on the old worldirc.org chat rooms, Dave 
would occasionally pop in. Many of you who were interested in IOTA 
occasionally chatted with him in the old #iota/iota2 rooms there.

He will be greatly missed...
