FT-990 ROM Version

To display the ROM version, just push numeric keypad
keys 1 and 3 as powering up.  This will cause the so
called Monte Carlo self-test to be performed.  At the
end of the test sequence, the ROM version is displayed
on the front of the radio.

Question came up repeatedly.  Yaesu will update, cost?
Reason I care is for computer control using contest s/w.
