[Yaesu] Computer interface cable

I seem to be experiencing a problem with the level converter in the
interface cable I'm using.  I believe the maker is "Ham Comm" or some
such...you know, the electronics are all housed in the DB25 connector.

What are you fellows using...other than the "gucci" model from Yaesu.  The
one I have had been working well, but seems to have crapped out, so I'm
going to try something else.

Alternatively, if any of you are using that interface, can replace the
small IC?  There doesn't seem to be any markings on it to tell what it is.
