[Yaesu] G-1000SDX and RF

I have had several people suggest that I shunt feed (for 160m and 80m) the
tower that my Mosley Pro-67c is mounted on. I am concerned that the RF
(1500w) on the tower will fry the electronics in my G-1000SDX rotor.
Anyone have experience or opinions on this?
