[Yaesu] FT920

Can anyone run a check on there FT920 with a cw filter fitted. By injecting
a signal on say 20m @ S9+10db in the narrow cw mode either lsb or usb
and tell me whether they can still hear that signal 4khz hf and lf of the
main signal. I have an FT920 here that i can plainly hear off frequency 
signals on and i'm wondering whether its a fault or a fundamental design
problem. By the way i'm using an INRAD 400hz filter but the rig showed
the same problem with the Yaesu 500hz filter.  Clive GM3POI
