Sure ... the FT-757SX and FT-757SX/II  is the low-power version
of the GX model.  Runs 10 watts as I recall ... which is the 
legal limit for JA 3rd and 4th class hams.  Most of the JA
manufacturers have models with a similar designation which
they then do NOT export.
