[Yaesu] Quadra Linear Amplifier

I just got a new Quadra Linear and I'm having trouble getting the antenna
tuner to work to prune my swr.   Maybe I'm not doing something proper but I
read and reread the manual and I can't seem to get it to work.  I push tuner
then tune and immediately get ERROR message.  Anyone have any suggestions?
