[Yaesu] Bliniking Dispaly on FT-900

This morning I turned on my FT-900 and foudn the display blinking.  
I turned it of and on again and the problem cleared. I assume this 
was a software controlled indication of a problem.  Can anyone tell 
me the meaning of it?
