Thanks to everyone who posted and E-mailed opinions and thoughts on
the 'bugs' with the FT-920. I got many responses and most of them told
me that the 'problems' aren't serious enough to worry about.

site! Excellent resources if you are considering buying the 920.
It looks like my only concerns are the CW keyer and the SSB IF filter.
This looks like something that may be solved with the third-party 1.8
Khz filter from INRAD. As for the CW problems, hopefully they are
taken care of in the latest production runs.
I pick up the new 920 this week. :-)) Again, thanks to all who
responded.
