[Yaesu] Lost Audio - almost

I have  intermitent loss of loss audio output on my FT-990 except for
the phone jack on the front of the radio. I have tried disconnecting the
external speaker and other cables going to the TNC, etc.. I have checked
squelch.. I have reset the microprocessors....
I am out of ideas... obviously, I can limp along using a headset.... but
would prefer to use the internal or external speaker also when desired..

Any help on this one would be appreciated...
