[Yaesu] CW filter for 455 IF in the FT-757GX

Need help.  Is it possible to replace a 455 IF ceramic filter in the 
FT-757GX with an INRAD CW xtal filter to narrow down the bandwidth?  
Realize that this will limit the rig to CW, but that's fine.  Also seem 
to have a lot of filter blow-by in the narrow CW position. Have seen the 
mod to disable the FM circuitry while in CW and will try that...

Appreciate the help.
