Are you going to use it as a sort of spectrum scope?  If so then I would think
you should place the scope connection higher in the IF, like the first IF
which I think is in the 9 Mc range, isent it?

P.S  Kenwood makes a nice scope for the 950SDX, but its kind of pricey.
