[Yaesu] FT1000 Locked Rx's ?

Hi chaps . 
Does anybody know of it's possible to lock the sub VFO to the main one ?
I have been using the two rx's together for contest work with two
antennas in "Diversity mode" - pressing A = B puts them together of
course but doesn't lock them as you tune up the band - this would be
REALLY useful.        Any ideas ??
