[Yaesu] Beware Beware

Sorry to say, the Beware post is real......

A local amateur sent a check to KB5SLY in Brandywine MD, the check has
cleared
and no equipment was shipped. This FT-1000 was advertised on the Virtual
Hamfest web site.

To date, the local county authorities, federal (postal and ICC) have been
contacted.

Any information on this individual would be appreciated.
