[Yaesu] FT990 Main Frequency Knob stuck

Hi,
This morining all of a sudden my main frequency knob on
FT990 got stuck. The more I try to turn it the harder it
becomes. Seems to be mechanical problem and I'd like to fix
it before ARRL, so please any comments or hints.
