[Yaesu] Looking for VX5 mods

Does anyone out there know of a mod that allows the new VX5 to receive in
918-944 MHz?  I was informed by Yaesu via email that these frequencies
are blocked on the chance that cell images could be received.  I have no
interest in phone calls, but do enjoy scanning a number of trunked
systems in that band.  My VX1 and FT50 receive up there fine unmodified.
