[Yaesu] FT1000

[Hardy Landskov]

I would like to get some opinions on whether it would be better a better
buy to purchase a FT1000 and bring it up to the level of a FT1000D (with
International Radio filters and better TCXO) or just look for a good
FT1000D. Has any one gone that route?
