[Yaesu] Loss of power on 1000MP

A few days ago I tried to transmit on phone and there was no power output.
The transmit light did go on.  It was as if I turned the power output pot
all the way down.  I checked all the cables - OK.  I then tried CW and it
worked OK.  Nothing seemd to correct the problem.  When I tried the radio a
few days later, everything was back to normal.  Any comments?
