Quadra on Government FrequenciesI have been putting together an =
interface for automatic antenna selection which runs off the "D" Band =
Data din plug...the new auto switch does NOT appear to be receiving the =
band data:

1) Is there a software control needed to turn on the band data jack on =
the back of the D?

2) The pinout for the band data plug amy be in error...I went by the =
photo in the manual, but the lug as shown on the schematic has different =
phyiscal locations for the pins than the picture shows them as having.

3) When the band data plug is plugged in there is no RF output on the =
rig.

4) The picture show both a Gnd and a TX gnd pin - for band data should I =
be using the gnd or the TX ground?

5) Is there a way to check the band data output - is it a string of DC =
output voltages I can measure on the mete or what...

Hopefully someone else has been down this road before.

Thanks, 73

Jim, K4OJ
