Dunno if can help but with my 920 I choose ant B and freq on VFO B, ant A
and freq on VFO A then I go SPLIT and it works.

Is there a way, other than pushing the AB switch each time, to make the
FT-1000MP receive on antenna "A" and transmit on antenna "B" or the
other way around?
