I have an FT-847, that I do not use often.  It has been pressed into service
now while my main rig is being repaired.
This morning I found that when I pushed the band up down arrows, it would
cycle through 50 -144 -440 -7.0 only.
40 meters is the only HF band it would select.   I think I remember
something about this when I first bought the radio.  However a search of the
operating manual produced no solution.  I had to do a master reset to
restore it to normal operation.
I would appreciate any help or advice.
