[Yaesu] Yaesu YF-112A VS XF-116A AM Filter

Does anyone know if the XF-116A 8.215 MHz 6 kc AM filter for the FT-920 will work in the FT-840, in place of the YF-112A 8.215 MHz AM filter? Both are the snap in type.
