[Yaesu] VL1000 Help

I have a VL 1000 hooked to a FT1000FT MK5 field.
The 1000 as well as my Kenwood 2000 tune my G5RV to very low SWR readings on
all bands. The VL1000 will not tune the antenna on 80-75 same error you get.
The VL1000 just does not have the ability to tune that most transceivers
have.
I purchased aa LDG1000 Antenna tuner and it tunes all bands well.
Not the best answer but it works.
I like the VL1000 in every other way and I am willing to put up with its
poor tuner
