Help is requested from anyone that has a working FT1000/D radio
available and is willing to remove the top cover and then make several
resistance measurements.

I have replaced the blown D9301 rectifier in my FT1000/D radio. Since I
do not know for certain why this component failed (one diode section
shorted) I could use some resistance measurement reference data. This
reference data is desirable prior to power application to the radio
again for fear of blowing the same component.

I would appreciate knowing the resistance measured at the following
circuit points:

                   * REMOVE AC POWER from your RADIO *

[1]    Between J7601 {RED from D9301(+)} and J7602 {BLUE from D9301(-)}.

[2]    Between J7605 {RED 31.5Vdc Output} and J7606 {BLACK at GND}.
[3]    Between J7602 {BLUE from D9301(-)} and J7606 {BLACK at GND}.

There are two situations for measurements to be made. Please do the
following [A- partially isolated] and then do [B- wiring reconnected].

[A- partially isolated] At the PS (Regulator) Unit, disconnect both
the RED conductor ( that connects from D9301(+) ) and the BLUE
conductor ( that connects from D9301(-) ) from J7601 and J7602,
respectively. Then make the following measurements:

    [1]    Measure the resistance between J7601 {RED} and J7602 {BLUE}
            [1a] With meter + lead at J7601: RESULT:
            [1b] With meter - lead at J7601: RESULT:

    [2]    Measure   the resistance between J7605 {RED} and J7606
{BLACK}
            [2a] With meter + lead at J7605: RESULT:
            [2b] With meter - lead at J7605: RESULT:

    [3]    Measure  the resistance between J7602 {BLUE} and J7606
{BLACK}.
            [3a] With meter + lead at J7602: RESULT:
            [3b] With meter - lead at J7602: RESULT:

The circuit points to be measured in [B] below are the same as in [A]
above, but with the wiring reconnected.

[B- wiring reconnected] Reconnect both the RED conductor ( that
connects from D9301(+) ) and the BLUE conductor ( that connects from
D9301(-) ) from J7601 and J7602, respectively, at the PS (Regulator)
Unit. Then make the following measurements:

    [4]    Measure  the resistance between J7601 {RED} and J7602 {BLUE}
            [4a] With meter + lead at J7601: RESULT:
            [4b] With meter - lead at J7601: RESULT:

    [5]    Measure  the resistance  between J7605 {RED} and J7606
{BLACK}
            [5a] With meter + lead at J7605: RESULT:
            [5b] With meter - lead at J7605: RESULT:

    [6]    Measure the resistance  between J7602 {BLUE} and J7606
{BLACK}.
            [6a] With meter + lead at J7602: RESULT:
            [6b] With meter - lead at J7602: RESULT:

Please advise me of your results for each of the twelve measurements.

Having this reference data available could allow me to avoid damage to
the expensive rectifier diode, D9301, component that I have just
replaced. Thank you very much.
