[Yaesu] FT-726R Receive Problems

I have an FT-726r that I recently procured, that has VERY weak receive on  SSB and CW.
Transmit is fine on all modes and FM receive works fine. I'm looking for any suggestions
for where to focus my troubleshooting efforts or if anyone has seen this issue.
