[Yaesu] FT1000D more splatter to the lower frequencies than to the higher frequencies???

Hello om,

I am the happy owner of a beautiful FT1000D. I placed two Inrad 2.8KHz 
filters last week. What I see is that in USB mode the splatter of my signal 
can be heared 4,5KHz and 3KHz up. In USB mode it is exact the same.

How can I correct this? I have found in th service doc something written 
about th TCP point adjustment. Do you think this is the correct adjustment 
for this problem? Do I need to adjust the TCP in another way than written in 
the doc because the bandwith is 2.8 instead of the standard 2.6KHz filter?
