[Yaesu] FT-1000D ser. number

Paul,

It is my understanding that the later FT1000/FT1000D radios have "recycled" serial numbers which can be identified by a rubber-stamped "A" on the s/n sticker. If yours was built in 2000, it will have the "A", if in 1990, it won't.
