I want to thank all who send such excellent suggestions. Last night I
grounded everything plus put all 110vt to same outlet and the hmm went away.
PLus I could not the the TS940s to operate in Vox thru the DXD box. Well I
just hooked up the foot switch so I eliminted that problem sort of. Still
curious why it wont work. I did get the tech notes from Top Ten and will put
the mods in later.
Now for the new problem in getting the rigs to key in cw. Hooked it up per
the Top Ten manual and I am using TRLOG and nothing..any one got any
ideas...When I hook up the interface either thru the Com 1 serial port or
LPT by it self and nothing else No com for the RS232 from the FT1000d or via
the Piexx board from TS940s the computer sends cw perfect its when I hook
up the other stuff and the DXD Box that it just dont work..anyone got any
idea and does the DXD box have the set inside for the interface. or will I
have to incorporate that in the DB25 for the computer to the DXD box. thanks
all PTL bill K0UK
