Dial lamps missing.
I have found a good answer to this problem
Some time ago I saw an article on a Google site about it 
and decided to replace my incandescents with leds as it suggested.
Having used the ones suggested Blue-- Jaycar ZD-0130,
I found them not bright enough and even pushing the current through them could not get them brighter.
My answer is to use Blue/Green leds., Jaycar ZD-0126.
They are much brighter, the original colour and better than than the originals.
I used 180 ohms in series with them.
