I have both a 1000MP MKV and a '746PRO, the latter having nearly 
identical IF filtering as the '756. I can make only one observation 
and that is the 1000MP's filters have a lot of leakage of very strong 
adjacent signals where the '746 has none. I operate mostly RTTY so my 
observation should be limited to that mode.

I was rather disappointed in the MP's filtering but it's otherwise a 
good radio.
