[Yaesu] FT1kD Display Readout Adjustment

The digital readout display for VFO-A seems to be out of calibration by 
approximately 30 Hz to 60 Hz.  Is there a separate adjustment that will 
affect only the digital readout display ?

The radio had been to MaMa Yaesu on several occassions, and comes back 
with the same apparent offset and their assurance that the rig is 
aligned to factory specifications.  However, I cannot believe that all 
thos CW stations are out of calibration and my rig is not. 

Any ideas ?
Can somebody lead me through a calibration procedure that does not 
require a frequency counter ?
