It sounds like the seller had a CW filter in one of the IFs that
was removed before he sold you the radio without resetting the
filter selection menu.

Without knowing what filters are still installed, check menu
5-2 (CW nor), 5-1 (8.2-2.0), 5-3 (8.2-250), 5-5 (455-2.0),
5-6 (455-500), and 5-7 (455-250). The factory "stock" settings
are: 5-2 = 8.2, and 5-1, 5-3, 5-5, 5-6, 5-7 = OFF.

Check pages 29, 101, 102 and 113 for more detail on the CW filters,
their installation, options and configuration.

Also check the Nor, Nar1, and Nar2 selectivity options for the
main receiver.
