     I notice it whenever I'm in a contest, or a big pileup...NO doubt 
about it !
   However, It'll do nothing for you when you're ragchewing on 17m.
  Having it in my MP and my 1000D, has completely put me off thinking of 
upgrading my rig..
 for now anyway.
