[Yaesu] ft-726r display problem

Hello, ALL.
I have a problem where the frequency display on my FT-726R is
extremely  dim  where  I  have to shade out any glare to read it . ( I
actually  just bought this radio used from a HAM DL and testing
it  out,  all  seems fine except the frequency display brightness ). I
with  huge impatience wait from you for the answer for the decision of
this problem, it very much excites me!
