[Yaesu] FT-100D PLL UNLOCK?

Hello All,

I just aquired two FT-100D's from an estate.

Both of these radios seem to be exhibiting the
same issue. The frequency display is flashing.
No RX or TX. From my limited knowledge of other
Yaesu radios, I believe this is an indication of
a PLL unlock condition. Is that so? 

Has anyone on the list fought this battle before?
I've looked around the net and didn't really find anything
specific to this problem.
