[Yaesu] FT 890 Power Outout Failure

My FT 890 has suddenly stopped producing 100 W output. The best it will do is around 10 W. It was performing normally and I was tuning into the 17 m band using a rolling induction transmatch with an output of power of approximately 10W. I achieved a good SWR and listened for any activity and when none was heard I tuned back to 20 m and tried to increase power, but I couldn't get any better than 10 W output.
Thinking that I may have inadvertently tried to tune into a high SWR with too much power and that the output power had been shut down to protect the finals, I shut everything off and gave it a chance to reset it's self. When I turned it on nothing had changed, still no output power. Following the manual I performed a reset to the factory settings, which worked because my memory selections and other personal choices were changed. However there was no change to the power problem.
Does anyone have any suggestions how to rectify this problem, or is a trip to the shop required.
Thanks in advance for your advice.
