I travel all over the Caribbean several times a year, I have a roll-on computer bag with my IC-7000, RM Italy KL-400 Amp and 2 x Astron SS30M Powers Supplies in it. When they ask if I have a computer in the bag I tell them it is a "radio", don't get fancy to them it is just a "radio". Nine times out of ten they will just tell me to put it thriugh the X-Ray, and rarely will search the bag after the XRay. This goes for the USA and all the Islands I havw been to

I don't know if these 'TSA-authorized' locks are integral to the case, or
like any other 'TSA-authorized' lock you can buy. The reason I bring this
up is that we lose a couple 'TSA-authorized' combo locks every year. Some
TSA grunt sees it, can't figure out how it works, takes a cutter to it and
sticks on an explanation/apology tag.

I figure that the percentage of ordinary suitcases that get opened and
manually inspected isn't that high, so it's my conclusion that the special
TSA locks are a gross failure as far as we consumers are concerned.

Carry-on is the only way to take anything you care about.
