[Yaesu] FT-1000D Audio Distortion

Dick, tweaking settings is a workaround.  The amps in question, Q2003 and 
Q2004 on the IF UNIT board, need to be turned off when the NB is turned off, 
which doesn't happen in the unmodified units.
