[Yaesu] FT 1000D and no RF

Just shipped my FL 7000 off today to repair so tried to fire up the 1000D and find I have no RF output. The antenna receive is working fine but when I hit the key, the needle deflects backward. Not any better on a dummy load. Retuned CW with no luck and the automatic tuner will not help. Can't believe that disconnecting the amp would cause this so must be missing something I am missing

Any suggestions before I panic ?
