[Yaesu] Low c-w beat note in FT-1000D 2nd RX with INRAD #21 filter

Followed INRAD instrux re making adjustments after filter installation; filter passband seems centered around 200 Hz, way low, so low that at first, I thought it wasn't working at all.

Haven't tried re-installing the stock 600Hz filter, yet.

INRAD sez they never heard of this syndrome; indicated Yaesu may be helpful. 

Been staring at my facservmanual block diagrams and schematics for ideas, so far to no avail . . . any help out there, please?
