[Yaesu] FT1000MP MkV digital modes vox

Is it possible to use VOX on Packet mode when running audio from the
PC-soundcard to the packet DIN-connector on the back of the FT1000MP MkV? 

I have searched the archives, but not found anything related to this issue.
VOX is smoother than having to fix an interface to do the PTT switching as
I am lazy. 

I do this on my FT897, but for some reason VOX it is not working on the MkV
in packet mode.

Anyone with info?
